Meizu M5 launch price set at INR 10,499 in India

Meizu has launched its affordable smartphone M5 in India. Priced at Rs 10,499, the phone is up for grabs exclusively at online store TataCLiQ. The 32GB Meizu M5 has been released in the country in Blue and Champagne Gold colors.

The listed price for the Meizu phone is Rs 1500 less than the regular price of Rs 11,999. The amount can either be paid one time or in installments.

Although the Meizu M5 comes in two storage options- 2GB/16GB variant and 3GB/ 32GB variant, only the latter has landed on the Indian soil. The 4G phone is powered by Mediatek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It sports a 5.2-inch HD display and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS. The storage capacity on board can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

On the imaging front, the Meizu M5 flaunts a 13MP rear camera with auto-focus, dual flash and a 5MP selfie shooter. There’s a 3070mAH battery to keep the lights on. Other features include a front fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a Micro USB port.
