We’re living in a world where a 5-inch device can be called Mini, device in case being Meizu M1 Note Mini — yeah, pretty long and odd name, but that’s a normal these days. Meizu is set for to announce something that involves 3 parties on Jan 27 (see the pic at bottom), and it seems that it’s the M1 Note Mini that is the device set for release on 27 Jan, at 3 carriers: China Unicom, China Telecom and China Mobile. A CDMA version of Mi Note is also being touted for announcement on the same day.

The back cover of the Meizu M1 Note Mini in blue color got leaked today, which further strengthens our belief of January 27 release. Meizu released the M1 Note a while ago, and it’s about time it pushed a new and capable device in M1 Note Mini in the low-range segment.

Meizu M1 Note Mini resembles the iPhone 5C, with a colorful back that houses a camera with space for LED flash, and Meizu logo at the bottom.

Meizu M1 Note Mini is said to feature a MT6753 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 5-inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels), which is incredible 440PPI – almost the same that you find in Galaxy S5, too. M1 Note Mini will support both kind of LTE networks (FDD/TDD), too.

There is a 13MP camera at rear of the Meizu M1 Note Mini, while the front will have a 5MP shooter to help you with selfies.

We’ll know more of the Meizu M1 Note Mini specs when the phone is announced, which isn’t far as we are just 2 weeks away from the release. We’ll be sure to bring you the announcement, so stay in touch.
