The Meizu E2 has been officially announced in China for a starting price of CNY 1,299. This is a mid-range smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer and will only be sold in China.

Pre-orders for the device will begin from today and there are two variants available. Meizu has included some decent hardware in the E2. It comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display, a MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core chipset that’s coupled with 3GB of RAM.

You get 32GB of internal storage, a microSD slot, a 13MP rear camera, and an 8MP camera at the front. The device also features a 4 LED dual-tone flash, which is rather unique. There’s also a 3400mAh that supports mCharge 3.0. It will run on Flyme OS 6.0, which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

Another variant of the Meizu E2 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage will also be sold. This model is priced at CNY 1,599, which is around $230, whereas the 3GB variant is around $190. The company will start delivering the phone to customers starting April 29.
