Chinese OEM, Meizu is getting in line to release a Bluetooth speaker, and a Selfie stick, to compliment their smartphones. A Bluetooth speaker with model number A20 featuring a 1800mAh battery and a Bluetooth Selfie stick with model number BT01 have turned up for Bluetooth certification.

Both devices are expected to make an entrance into the Asian market by February at the most. Chinese OEMs are quickly catching up to the major competitors and they end up being more popular too. Xiaomi did the same by offering a cheap alternative to smartwatches with their Mi band.

Meizu also expects to promote its devices with longer battery life in the future with a patent being spotted revealing the use of a secondary rear display — the whole scheme aims to get you a smaller watch-like secondary display to make do with your smartphone usage, when battery level drops low, like 15%.

Meizu devices are expected to get the update to Nougat update by this month or by February. If you own a Meizu device and are wondering if you will get the update, head over to our device list page to find out.
