After clearing FCC certification, LG W270 smartwatch has received the green signal from Bluetooth SIG as well hinting that it might hit the markets soon.
The Bluetooth listing only reveals that LG’s next iteration of connected watch will support A2DP, AVRCP and GAVDP.
For the uninitiated, A2DP stands for Advanced Audio Distribution Profile while GAVDP means Generic Audio/Video Distribution Profile. Further, AVRCP or Audio/Video Remote Control Profile allows Bluetooth devices to control media playback on remote devices.
Details about this yet-to-be-launched LG wearable device is scarce, but we do know that will boast a stainless steel build and be powered by Snapdragon Wear chipsets. It will also come with IP67 rating making it water and dust resistant.
