AT&T’s twitter account just told us that it 3D phone, the LG Thrill 4G, will be releasing soon on September 4 for just $99 on a two year contract deal. That’s not bad at all. The price is right for a phone which has a dual-core processor, but the rest of the spec-sheet of which isn’t too impressive and reminds mostly of phones of last year. Of course, except that it has glasses-free 3D tech, which is why it would sell in the quantity it would sell.

Speaking of LG Thrill 4G phone’s specs, it houses a 1 GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4430 CPU, Android 2.2 (yeah, it’s silly!), dual 5 MP cameras for 3D shooting, 4.3 inch LCD screen with resolution of 800 x 480, 4G, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, 1500 mAh battery, and other normal specs. And it’s quite thick at 11.9 mm and a bit heavy at 168 grams, but that’s the cost of having 3D benefits.

So, are you looking forward to September 4, to buy Thrill 4G at $99.99?
