The LG G6 will soon be available for purchase in several regions around the world. But first, LG wants to flaunt the new graphic user interface or GUI of the UX 6.0 that is part of the G6 software.

Yes, the LG G6 runs Android 7.0 Nougat, but on top of that, the company has used its own custom skin called UX 6.0. And the new UX has been specifically designed for that odd 18:9 ratio display on the device.

The display on the G6 has a new 18:9 ratio, unlike other smartphones that feature a traditional 16:9 ratio. Because of this new ratio, the LG G6 can have a little more information displayed on the 5.7-inch screen.

Multitasking with two apps is also better, as both the apps appear in two perfect squared windows. The camera interface is also much improved and user friendly, with a strip on the side showing the most recent pictures. In the new video published by LG, we see some of these new design elements of the interface.
