Expanding  its newest Q series line, LG has added a second member to the series dubbed as LG Q8. This high-end smartphone joins LG Q6 in the Q series line up.

LG Q8 was officially launched three days back and now the Korean company has announced the release time-frame for the device. In key European markets, the LG Q8 will go on sale this week itself followed by markets in Asia next month.

LG has incorporated many features from the V series, particularly LG V20, in LG Q8. The secondary display has been maintained as well as the Hi-Fi Quad DAC audio technology. To make the phone more attractive, some additional features such as  water and dust resistance (IP67 rating) have been added to the new smartphone.

Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company says:

The Q8 gets much of its DNA from past V devices but is designed for one-handed use and ease of portability.

Coming to the specifications, LG Q8 sports 5.2-inch QHD display. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset which is paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB in-built storage which can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card.
