After officially releasing LG Q6 last month, the Korean giant is gradually expanding the base of its availability. This toned down version of LG G6 has already been released in some countries including Korea and India. Now it’s time for South Africa to receive the product.

The South Africa division of LG Mobile, via its Twitter handle, has uploaded a teaser video hinting at the launch of LG Q6 in the country soon. The 16-second video shows a phone with Full Vision display. Also mentioned is a web link which directs to LG website listing of Q6.

Packaged in a stylish metallic body, LG Q6 sports 5.5-inch FHD+ FullVision bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the phone tucks in Snapdragon 435 chipset paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB in-built storage.

The camera department consists of single rear camera of 13MP resolution and  a 5MP wide angle selfie camera. The device flaunts an interesting camera feature named Square Camera Mode which makes it easy to share square pictures on social media sites. This feature also allows you to create photo collages using multiple square images.

LG ships the device with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. A 3,000mAh battery is tucked beneath to keep the lights on Q6. The LG Q6 is available in three colors — Astro Black, Ice Platinum, and Terra Gold and the device flaunts Face recognition technology.
