Nearly a month ago, we told you that LG is working on a watered-down variant of the LG G6. Back then, it was being referred to as the LG G6 Mini.

Apparently, the device will officially be called LG Q6 claims Evan Blass (@evleaks) — a famous and reliable leakster.

The LG Q6 will reportedly come with the model number: M700 as revealed by the FCC. The smartphone was previously tipped to come with a slightly smaller 5.4-inch display in comparison to the LG G6.

However, it will maintain the 18.5:9 aspect ratio with a screen-to-body ratio just under 80%. The LG Q6 is speculated to feature a single 13MP camera on the back as opposed to the dual camera setup found on the LG G6.

Also, the Q6 will only get 3GB of RAM. There’s currently no word on which chipset will the company use for the smartphone. By the looks of it, though, the company may not opt for the Snapdragon 821 SoC and instead choose a mid-range chip to keep the price in check.

But again, that’s something we are speculating and hasn’t been confirmed by the company. So, do take it with a pinch of salt.
