Recently, LG launched a new series dubbed as LG Q series. The Q series lies between the high-end G/V series and lower end X/K series. The first smartphone that was launched under the Q series is the LG Q6, which is the mini version of high-end device, LG G6. LG Q6 further comes in two variants, low-end LG Q6α and top model Q6+.

LG will release the first model, LG Q6, on August 2 in Korea. The smartphone will be available through two of the three popular carriers in Korea i.e. KT (Korea Telecom) and LG U Plus. Currently, there is no information about SK Telecom. It will go on sale through online malls and nationwide KT and LG U Plus stores.

As previously reported, LG Q6 will sell for 400,000 Won ($356) in Korea. The total price including the tax will be 419,100 won ($373). The smartphone will be available in three color variants of Ice Platinum, Astro Black, and Mystic White.

For those not in the know, LG Q6 will be the first smartphone after LG G6 to offer Full Vision Display, which will provide a great immersive experience on the 5.5-inch display with 18:9 ratio. About the design, the LG Q6 will offer better durability, thanks to the ultra-strong 7000 series Aluminum metal frame.

Under the hood, the LG Q6 features Qualcomm’s 1.4GHz Snapdragon 435 (octa core) processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, Android 7.1.1, and 3000mAh battery.

In the camera segment, LG Q6 features 13MP rear camera and 5MP front wide angle camera coupled with a new Square camera Mode.
