As always, in the days that lead to a new Nexus device, it is not unusual to see leaked pics, speculation on specs and features, and a variety of information that is released online. We had written about some leaked images of the Optimus Nexus , as well as the expected specs based on an entry in the AnTuTu benchmarks database.
Well, here’s some more to get your juices flowing. Another LG Optimus Nexus LG-E960 has popped up over at XDA , in a new thread opened by member 4shael, who seems to have somehow gotten hold of a prototype device, and is answering questions about the device being asked by other members. Specs as posted by him are as follows:
CPU: core quad ARMv7 1.5GHz
RAM: 2 GB
Memory: 8GB (and I haven’t found SD slot)
GPU: Adreno 320
Android version: JellyBeanMR1
Kernel 3.4.0
Screen: 768×1184 (320 dpi)
Camera: 8 MPx
Most of it seems to be consistent with what we saw earlier based on the AnTuTu benchmark results, except for a minor difference in the screen resolution. The user claims that the device he has is an 8GB version, which also seems to tie in with the reports that only 8GB & 16 GB versions are expected to be released.
Well, there is still speculation in the thread about the veracity of the claim, and if you want to check out the conversation, you can hop over to the XDA thread and find out. True or otherwise, there’s nothing like some good gossip to spice up the days before the actual release.
