This has to be the bummer of the week! A GLBenchmark result which showed up this week, purportedly for the upcoming LG Nexus 4, threw up a few nasty surprises, putting a big question mark on the hopes that many were  having, me included, on a Motorola Nexus device- code named Occam. While this doesn’t really come as much of a surprise to us, with a new AnTuTu benchmark result popping up yesterday, indicating a Korean locale for Occam, and hence a possible Korean manufacturer.

While we already knew for sure that the Mako code name was tied in to the LG Nexus 4 – no surprises there, it now turns out that the term Occam, is nothing but a code-name for the software build, attached to the mako hardware. Sheesh! and all along we were thinking first of a Motorola Nexus, and once the Moto angle came under a cloud, our thoughts moved towards a possible Samsung device. Funny how these things turn out.
