When it comes to specsheet and leaked images, LG G6 needs no introduction. There is hardly any angle left in the G6 puzzle to keep us intrigued. After all, we know the unveiling date, which is Feb 26 in Barcelona, the specsheet has been leaked again and again and even images of the all-metal LG handset. So much so that the price, for now rumored one, is also known ($600). But hold on, there’s one small piece missing in the entire zig-saw, the release timeframe.

Well, this mystery too has been solved with LG G6 ‘planning material’ obtained by Venture Beat, which states that South Korea will be the first country where sales of the LG 2017 flagship smartphone will begin on March 9 (that was obvious, wasn’t it?). And in US, it will go on sale nationwide starting April 7th. This is a week earlier than the anticipated Samsung Galaxy S8 US release of April 21st.

Learning a a lesson from its last G5 debacle, which didn’t augur quite well with the users, LG this time has replaced the G5 modular design with an all-metal look for G6.

It will sport bezel-less display with 5.7-inch screen toting resolution of 1,440 x 2,880 (18:9 display ratio). Other flaunting features are rear dual camera with rear fingerprint scanner, waterproof build, wireless charging and Google Assistant as its voice recognition AI software. It will be powered by Snapdragon 821 processor and run on Android 7 Nougat out of the box.
