LG has officially announced to release its 2017 flagship smartphone G6 in Canada on April 7th. The pre-orders, however, are starting from today.

The announcement was made by LG’s Canadian arm via their Twitter handle where it mentioned that the LG G6 can be purchased from 9 carriers in the country- Bell, Fidomobile, FreedomMobile, Koodo Mobile, Rogers, SaskTel, Telus, Videotron, and Virgin Mobile.

Other reports suggest that the premium LG phone will also be available for grabs at these carriers- Best Buy Mobile, Tbooth wireless, Wirelesswave, Costco Canada, and Wow! Mobile Boutique.

A past leak tipped us on the US release of LG G6 which is also going to happen on April 7th via T-Mobile. Notably, the white version of G6 will not be sold in the US.

LG G6 boasts of 5.7-inch QHD+ 18:9 resolution display with rounded edges. Powered by Snapdragon 821 processor, the phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat. Other features include 4GB of RAM, dual 13MP rear cameras, 5MP wide angle front camera, IP 68 rating for water and dust proofing. There’s a 3300 mAh battery to keeps the lights on.
