LG has officially launched the mid-range variant of its flagship phone LG G4 called LG G4 Beat. The smartphone was previously leaked via benchmark as the LG G4 S. The LG G4 Beat is undoubtedly smaller and less powerful than the LG G4 as it is a mid-ranger with downgraded aspects. The mid-range smartphone boasts of a 5.2 inch display with a Full HD 1080p resolution.
The device employs a 1.5 GHz octa core Snapdragon 615 chipset that is backed by 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of native memory space. A 2,300 mAh battery is housed in the smartphone to power enough juice to the LG G4 Beat that is preinstalled with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
LG seems to highlight the camera hardware on the LG G4 Beat as it is touted to feature an 8 MP main snapper at its back with LG’s exclusive Color Spectrum Sensor, Laser Auto Focus and Manual Mode as in the LG G4 to capture every detail in the shots.
Up front, the device flaunts a 5 MP selfie snapper with Gesture Interval Shot that will let users click four consecutive selfies with a single hand gesture to produce the perfect selfie.
The LG G4 Beat will be made available in the prime markets in Latin America and Europe including Brazil, Germany and France. Later, it will be launched in Canada, India, Singapore, Russia, Turkey and South Africa.
The LG G4 Beat will arrive in Ceramic White, Metallic Silver and Shiny Gold color options. For now, there is no word regarding the price of the smartphone. In some markets in Latin America, the LG G4 Beat will feature a 13 MP main snapper at its back.
