Majority of Android 5.0 Lollipop updates seem to be rolling out now in February, while Google released the update early in December last year. The latest device to get the Lollipop goodness is LG G Pro 2, which will be receiving Android 5.0.1 OTA update today in Europe.
The G Pro 2 Lollipop update sizes about 640MB, and with the material design goodness, it’s set to breathe new life into the device. The update will bring the user interface on G Pro 2 to match the refined UI on LG G3, coupled with all the new features and design language of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
LG G Pro 2 lollipop OTA carries the LRX21Y build number and D83820c software version.
You should receive the update anytime now, however, in case you don’t get the notification as shown in the screenshot below, try checking for the OTA update manually by going to your phone’s Settings » About phone » Update center » Software update and hit the “Check now for update” option.
