Following its successful launch in South Korea, LG is heading out to roll out the curved flexing smartphone — LG G Flex 2 — to other nations as well. Its second market is Singapore, where the innovative handset will be available for pre-order on February 27, and will hit the store shelves from March 14.
According to LG, the phone sells with a price tag of $998 and will be available in Platinum silver and Flamenco red color options. LG G Flex 2 showcased at the CES earlier this year has 23-degree arc display, specially designed to fit the contours of your face. It is equipped with 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 2 GB RAM and 3000 mAh battery. Other features include 32GB internal storage, microSD card slot, Android 5.0, 4G LTE and NFC support.
Other improvements include a self-healing back cover that is quick to recover from scratches and scuffs.
As of now, there’s no information about the release date in the U.S or the U.K, but it has been reported that major carriers like AT&T, Sprint and US cellular will be offering the curved smartphones in the States, while Vodafone will be exclusively carrying the device for six weeks following the launch in U.K.
