The Lenovo Vibe K5 is getting an update which will bring VoLTE support to the device. The update comes with firmware build A6020a40, and is on the roll as we speak. If you haven’t received the update notification yet, be sure to check for it manually via Settings » About phone » System updates section.

It should be good news for Indian users, especially those who are on the Reliance Jio network. And of course, the update is Marshmallow based, as Lenovo will be focusing more on its premium lineup to be updated to Nougat first.

The Vibe K5 features mediocre specs with a HD display, 2GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 415 powering the device. With these specifications, Lenovo aims the smartphone at the budget market where it has performed well over the few months after its release in April of 2016.

Lenovo is also doing well with performance oriented smartphones too. The upcoming Lenovo P2 which features a gigantic 5100 mAh battery should turn some heads in the near future. On the premium side, the Lenovo ZUK Edge was recently launched.
