LeEco Le Max Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to release soon

Looks like the LeEco Le Max is finally getting the update to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. We’ve got the screenshot of a GFXBench benchmark result, and as you can see, Android 6.0.1 is being tested on the smartphone.

The Le Max is a phablet! It was announced in January last year and features a large 6.33-inch 2K display. It also has a Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 21MP rear camera, a 4MP front camera, and a 3400 mAh battery.

When the phone was released last year, it came with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. LeEco has always been late when it comes to updating its smartphones, and it shows. The company is only just testing the Marshmallow update, while others are seeding Nougat.

We’re not sure when the official Marshmallow update for the LeMax will be available, but it can’t be much longer. It seems it is already under testing, and we should have a release very soon. We will let you know once it is available for the device.
