Xiaomi released a new weekly beta update to MIUI 10 towards the end of last week, but a number of devices already in the program missed out on the new software, which came with version 8.11.1.
Xiaomi Mi 8 was among the devices that missed out on this update, but the company has another update for the device that brings MIUI 10 beta version 8.11.2. Besides the usual bug fixes and performance improvements, the new update also displays a new battery icon with the percentage when the phone is charging, which is a pretty cool addition.

The App Vault also has a new cards option named Security while the updater app has also received a few UI changes. As for the lock screen notifications issues that have been present in MIUI 10 beta for quite some time now, the Mi 8 is still experiencing them even after the update to beta 8.11.2. Hopefully, a future update will solve this issue once and for all.
Other notable issues that are still present even after updating to MIUI 10 8.11.2 include broken Google Assistant, Picture in Picture, and PUGB game with respect to the notch. Fixes for these issues are expected in future updates.
