MIUI 10 8.7.5 China ROM update also rolling out
In China, the same MIUI 10 v8.7.5 is also rolling out, but the changelog has more than what is contained in the global update. Nonetheless, we think the changes in the Chinese ROM will also appear in the global variants.
Some of them include better and more convenient full-screen gestures and new UI optimizations for an improved full-screen experience. You will also enjoy new nature-inspired system sounds like forest, beach, drizzle, etc. as well as take advantage of the new smart alarms with weather info.
The devices with AI capabilities are also getting some improvements to the Mi AI machine learning program. They’ll now see suggestions to connect to nearby devices as well as a flagship IoT platform for smart devices.
Other improvements include optimized face unlock speed and enhanced camera performance in low-lit conditions, video recording, and when taking shots in portrait mode, both indoors and outdoors.
