It’s yet another week and Mi fans who’ve been following us closely will know it’s that time to talk about the upcoming MIUI 10 beta update. The latest version, whose changelog preview has already been published by the company, bumps up the software version to 8.10.25 and as expected, it brings along a bunch of important bug fixes and performance optimizations.

According to Xiaomi, the new MIUI 10 8.10.25 update takes care of notification and lockscreen issues where the Mi Store icon didn’t show in the notification panel and Mi Music controls won’t display. The update also fixes an issue where the Mi Cloud Backup hasn’t been working correctly since the MIUI 10 update from version 8.9.20 to 8.10.11.

For those who have remained loyal to the company’s Messaging app, the new beta 8.10.25 update also fixes an issue where selected contacts would get deselected on pressing back multiple times and texts display overlap in the device options, among others.

The current release is targeting a small number of users after which a wider rollout will commence on October 25, which is when Xiaomi will provide download links to recovery and fastboot files for manual installation of the update.
