Way to go Motorola! Making good on their promise to focus on software updates, Motorola has started rolling out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Droid RAZR M, less than two months after the smartphone was launched in the market, and just a week after Motorola sent test invites for the update to Motorola Feedback Network members.
The update sports build number 98.12.4, and brings a faster and smoother interface, better keyboard, Google Now, speedier camera, advanced notifications that can be expanded and allow users to initiate certain actions right from the notifications menu, improved gallery, as well as the usual slew of Jelly Bean improvements, like a faster browser and much more.
The update has only just been approved it seems, so it should be arriving on RAZR M’s very soon. Do keep an eye out for the notification, and let us know if any of you have already received it!
Well played Motorola, well played. Getting acquired by Google certainly seems to have changed your game, and only for the better.
