The first project Tango-inspired Android device, the Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro, that was unveiled by Lenovo with Google may just have been spotted at FCC. But here is why we’re not completely sure it’s PHAB 2 Pro.
The model no. of the device is PB2690Y, just a tad different from PB2690N, which is model no. of 18.4-inch Lenovo tablet found at GFXBench benchmark listing.
But as per the documents found, the device is said to be of size 179 x 88mm, around the same size as Xperia X Ultra, which is, mind you, a 6.4-inch phablet. Also, the diagonal measurement of the body runs at 196mm (7.71-inch), which seems okay for a device with display size of 6.4-inch.
Moreover, there is presence of GSM, WCDMA and LTE networks, all of them nearly, and latest Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities — signs of a super-spec’ed phone like PHAB 2 Pro.
What do you think? If this is indeed the PHAB 2 Pro, and not one of its variant or that gigantic tablet whose model no. is close to its, then it should be able to meet its September release easily.
