A two minute silence for MetroPCS’ latest marketing stunt……. And now, doggerel of Snoop Dogg has changed to Snoop DoggGG, yeah! The extra Gs is for the reason that MetroPCS has taken the assistance of Mr. Snoop to launch Samsung Indulge and to honour this deal Snoop Dogggg, doubled his G count (Howard Stern might be interested in this). The hip hop soopah star is endorsing the carrier and the phone but we know MetroPCS doesn’t need a corroboration of their reputation. It is already providing 4G LTE smartphone service plans at half the price of other such 4G carriers, which includes all taxes and fees ($50 and $60 plans). It also delivers unparalleled value for money with unlimited talk, text, and 4G LTE web page browsing, besides giving you data access to stream audio, video, game contents, downloads, Android updates and loads more on your Galaxy Indulge.
This Snoop Metro collaboration has come up with many goodies like a video series called The G-Connection” based on a dating game show, featuring Warren G (yeah another G), Brittany Dailey, Ted Williams (the internet sensation, man with the Golden Voice). There is also a contest which gives out Snoop Dogggg merchandise, VIP trip for two to his summer concert, front row seats and back stage passes, and two Samsung Galaxy Indulge phones for free. You don’t even have to purchase the phone for the sweepstakes. Enter the “Indulge with Snoop Dogggg” contest at your nearest Metro store before 31st March. Now something about the phone; running on Android 2.2 (Froyo), Indulge gives you access to more than 200,000 apps from the Android Market™ and complete access to Google Mobile Services. Now let’s count the goodies, touch screen/QWERTY keyboard, 3 megapixel camera and camcorder with auto focus, music player, Stereo Bluetooth® capabilities and expandable memory up to 32 GB. Indulge would be marked and $400 and would be available at all MetroPCS stores and on the MetroPCS website.
Enticing deal, Snoop Dogggg’s is adding some bling to the deal. T-Mobile and Verizon’s got to watch out. Cheerio!
