A mysterious Huawei handset with model number TRT-LX3 stopped by at the FCC today revealing nothing but its battery capacity of 3,900mAh. We are guesstimating that the handset could be none other than Huawei Honor V9 as it has a similarly sized battery.
Huawei had launched the Honor V9 last month in China. The smartphone sports a design language similar to that of the Apple iPhones, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
It has a dual camera setup (12MP + 2MP) at the back and an 8MP camera on the front for selfies.

Under the hood is an in-house 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin 960 SoC teamed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. One can also expand the storage space via an external microSD card. Most of the front is dominated by a 5.7-inch QHD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The Honor V9 is available in three color variants: Blue, Sequoia Red, and Pink.
