Huawei Mate S to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update under beta program soon

Huawei is looking to issue a beta program for Mate S users in Malaysia that will allows users to test out the Marshmallow update. The update would be released in March 2016, while the registrations for the update close by February 26.

Mate S users running Lollipop build CRR-UL00C470B146 are eligible for the update. To register under the beta program, check this link.

Because this will not be final build of Marshmallow, users could be facing unexpected bugs while using the device. Don’t blame Huawei if yours apps misbehave or data gets lost.

March and April should be big month for Huawei users around the world as company would be releasing the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for many of its devices: Honor 4X (April), Honor 5X (March-April), Honor 7 (Feb/March), Holly2 Plus (Feb-March), etc.

Once again, if you are running the above-mentioned build on Mate S in Malaysia, then you could register for the Marshmallow update under beta program before Feb 26, 12AM to have the privilege of receiving the update earlier than other users.
