Huawei Mate 9 price set at AUD999 in Australia, now available for purchase

Huawei released the Mate 9 in China in November last year following which it gradually entered several countries including the US, UK and the Philippines. It is now up for grabs in Australia at a price of AUD999.

The phone is being sold by Australia’s multi-national retailer Harvey Norman in Mocha color and can be purchased in its over 170 stores, online as well as offline. As an additional benefit, Harvey Norman is also offering the phone on 12-months interest-free EMIs.

Huawei Mate 9 sports a 5.9-inch 1080p display. It is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 960 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It features the 2nd generation Leica Dual Camera at the back offering a 12MP color sensor and a 20MP monochrome sensor for stunning colors coupled with 8MP front camera.

There’s a 4 Level rear Fingerprint sensor and 4000mAh battery along with Huawei’s SuperCharge technology. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Optus too had put up the Huawei Mate 9 for pre-order last month with shipping scheduled to start from today.
