A new Huawei premium smartphone named as Honor V9 has been doing the rounds for quite some time now. It was listed on Chinese certification site TENAA last month revealing quite a bit of its specsheet. The same has been spotted once again on Weibo in all its glory with specs and price revealed.
As for the specs, as cited by Weibo, the Honor V9 includes 4000mAH battery and Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It will come in two options — 4GB and 6GB paired with 64 GB internal storage. Camera wise, the phone will house dual rear camera set-up with 12MP resolution and a 8MP selfie shooter. Under the hood, it will run the new and improved Kirin 960 processor which supports Google Daydream VR. It should be priced at 2699 yuan which is approximately $393.
The newly leaked specs fall in line with the features listed on TENAA which showed that V9 will be equipped with a 5.7-inch display with a resolution Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixel), an unnamed eight-processor with a clock frequency of 2.4 GHz which we now know is Kirin 960. This will be paired with new Mali M71 graphics which is Vulkan API compatible, which even the P9 and Honor 8’s Kirin 950 and 955 weren’t. TENAA listed the phone as model no DUK-TL30.
Huawei has lined up two products for MWC 2017. One being the high-end Huawei P10 alongside with its P10 Plus sibling.
