Barely two days after its online appearance, Huawei’s new smartphone Honor 8 Lite is already up for pre-order in Finland with prices starting at €269. The phone made its sudden appearance in a leak on Jan 31, making us wonder if Huwaei plans to launch it during upcoming MWC.

Well, that may be the case if we look at a global release. But, otherwise, it has already made its appearance in Finland where the pre-orders started yesterday, February 1 and it will soon be readily available for purchase in the country from February 17.

Coming to the specs, the successor to Honor 8 features a 5.2 inch LTPS display with Full HD resolution and 2.5D glass on top of it. It is powered by octa-core Kirin 655 paired with 3GB RAM. The internal storage provides 16GB memory which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The good thing about it is that, despite being a lower-end version of Honor 8, it still carries Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Huawei’s own EMUI 5.0 interface on top.

On the imaging front, Honor 8 Lite flaunts 12 MP rear camera with F2.2 aperture and 8 MP selfie snapper with 77-degree angle of view.

In Finland, Honor 8 Lite is currently available in black and white colors, to be followed by the golden and blue color variants by March-end.
