HTC has launched its flagship device, HTC M8 in the first quarter of  2014 which drew a lot a attraction from the Android community. Following the device launch, there has been many alleged rumors that the company is manufacturing few more devices that are expected to line up the M8 series. Initially, there has been rumors on the Prime variant of the device but there are further information on that leak. Now the fresh leaks indicate that HTC is currently working on two variants of M8 which are dubbed Plus and Advance.

Things got more interesting with the latest leaks on M8 hinting HTC is working on a Quad HD display for the Plus variant of M8. Now that Quad HD displays are the norm for the flagship devices, HTC manufactures are working on providing the QHD display on the latest Plus variant of HTC M8. The display size is not confirmed yet, but now that LG G3 is Officially launched, it can be anticipated that HTC will strive to provide a better display quality to beat the LG’s latest flagship.

Further information includes that the Plus variant will lack the Dual Camera setup that was featured on the HTC M8 and instead it features a 13 MP rear camera that comes with optical image stabilization. Going with the company’s reputation in providing some of the finest camera sensors in their device, we assume the Plus variant will also provide a decent photographic experience, but it’s just an expectation and we have to wait until the device hands-on to give a complete round-up on its camera quality.

There would be no change in the design section of this device, and it features a Metallic body just like the HTC M8. But one additional feature that the company intends to arm this device, is with the Water Proof technology which we guess is to take on the Samsung Galaxy S5. This feature was missing earlier on the HTC M8, so HTC might include in its Plus variant.

Coming to the hardware of the device, the device is rumored to be equipped with the latest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 processor and 3 GB of RAM. Further specifications of the devices are yet to be known, but as the device is from the M8 line-up it might carry the same features of HTC M8. So that’s a lot of features on one device, right? Let’s wait for the further information on the HTC M8 Plus.
