The first Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) Android 4.0 RUU update file has been leaked for the Sprint HTC EVO 3D on Virgin Mobile by Brief Mobile. The previous ICS update for the EVO 3D update came in a flashable recovery zip format and created problems for many users, so the RUU leak is quite a welcome bit of news, as it’s usually much safer than other methods of updating.
Though it’s said that this RUU update could be the final update that will be officially released later, nothing is certain, so flash the update at your own risk. The RUU will bring the EVO 3D to the software version 1.13.652.2. The update will erase your data, so make sure to back it up (use this Android Backup guide for reference). Also, make sure you S-Off your EVO 3D before attempting the update.
To update, simply download the RUU file from the Brief Mobile website, enable USB debugging on your phone from Settings » Applications » Development, connect the phone to the computer, then run the downloaded .exe file and follow on-screen instructions to complete the update. i think its missing some files or it not the correct on, that is why i like to use ruu, instead of OTA’s and pg file
