The Desire P had been rumored to be in the pipeline as a new member of HTC’s Desire range of Android smartphones, and today a picture of the Desire P has made an appearance, indicating at a release in China first.

Similar to last year’s Desire SV in looks, the Desire P sports a 4.3″ display of WVGA (480 x 800) resolution, while underneath there is a dual-core 1GHz processor. There’s an 8-megapixel rear camera, front-facing camera (probably VGA), a microSD slot, and unmentioned version of Android. Beats Audio is integrated in the device, which is becoming the norm for most HTC devices.

The full list of specs haven’t been mentioned yet, neither has the launch date, though the price is rumored to be around $365. China Mobile will be the carrier offering it first, and there’s no info on whether an international release will happen later on.
