The HTC EVO Design 4G made its first official appearance, and except the name there is nothing new to this device that we didn’t know by now. The device first appeared as HTC Kingdom and would also be available at US Cellular as HTC Hero 4G.

We also know the specs of this device thanks to leak of its few ROM’s, now the only missing piece of this puzzle is the release date and price tag.

The EVO Design 4G will run on Android 2.3 OS and has a 1.2GHz single-core processor and 768MB RAM. The display will be a 4-inch qHD tagged with a 5-mega pixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front camera. The rear camera is capable of 720p HD recording.

For what it’s worth, here is a quick recap of specs:

  • Android 2.3.3
  • 4-inch qHD (540 x 960) display
  • 1.2 GHz single-core processor, Adreno 205 GPU
  • 768 MB RAM
  • 5 MP rear camera (720p capable)
  • 1.3 MP front camera
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 3G and 4G+ support
It will be launched on Sprint soon but pricing and exact release dates are still anyone’s guess. But we’re pretty sure it would turn out to be a cool worthy budget phone for those at Sprint. What do you think?
