HTC 10 in Europe gets software update to version 2.41.401.41

HTC 10

After rolling out the August security patch to the HTC 10 handsets in Hong Kong, the company is now rolling out the same update in Europe.

Arriving with the software version number 2.41.401.41, the update weighs in around 260MB. HTC recommends its users to download the update over a stable Wi-Fi network, which is something we also recommend in case you want to avoid unnecessary data charges.

The update brings with it the August security patch (as mentioned above) alongside various bug fixes and system improvements which is sort of common with any update.

HTC has already started seeding the latest security patch over-the-air (OTA). So, you should see the update notification pop up on your screen anytime now.

In case you want to check for it manually, you can do so by heading to Settings > About device > System updates. Also, ensure to charge your device to at least 50% before installing the update.
