The camera experience on Samsung Galaxy S6 is undoubtedly greater than any other smartphone on market. It’s literally the best smartphone camera you can get right now. The pictures it takes are sharp and crisp, and so is its video shooting capabilities.
Thanks to its advanced camera hardware, you can also shoot beautiful slow motion videos on Galaxy S6. And unlike previous Samsung flagships, the Galaxy S6 doesn’t get choosy before shooting a slow motion video, it records a slow-mo video in maximum possible FPS and then let’s you choose the playback speed later with option to also select which part of the video should be slow-mo and then export/save it separately.
Recording a slow motion video on Galaxy S6 is pretty straightforward:
- Open the camera app on your S6.
- Tap on “Mode” in bottom left corner of the app.
- Select “Slow motion” and start shooting.
How to trim and export slow motion videos
Like we said above the Galaxy S6 also let’s you select and trim a part of a video that you want to make slow-mo, while keeping normal FPS for the rest of the video. This can be done when you play a video recorded in slow motion from the gallery. Trimmed videos can also be exported as a separate video using the “Export” option from the top right corner of playback screen.
