While Apple users had a ready alternative for the missing headphone jack, Android users had to wait quite a while before they got a pair of truly wireless earbuds from Google. Thankfully that problem was solved with the release of Pixel buds which were frankly the best alternative out there for most stock Android users.
Just like Apple, Google gives you a nifty way to locate your earbuds if you use them, and while a great design, the Pixel Buds are quite small and easily misplaced. So if you have lost your Pixel Buds and want to retrieve them, then our guide might come in handy for you. Let’s take a quick look at it.
Various ways to find your lost Pixel Buds
You can easily locate your Pixel Buds by using the ‘Ring’ feature. This feature can be activated from your paired device and it will make the Pixel Buds ring at a low volume. As time passes and you look for your Pixel Buds the ringing will slowly increase in volume so that it becomes easier to find them.
However, if the Pixel Buds are not paired to your device and their vicinity is unknown to you then you can use Google’s find my device app. They will show you the last known location of your Pixel Buds when they were connected to your device. This can also help you locate stolen buds as you will be shown the location as long as they are connected to the internet.
