How to Install firmware on Huawei Honor Android devices

Installing firmware on your Huawei Honor comes with a lots of benefits. And thankfully, the process isn’t as taxing as it is on some other devices like HTC, Sony, etc.

By installing the firmware, your can fully reset your Honor Android phone, and thus unbrick it if it is in soft-bricked condition. Alternate method: In case the above method doesn’t work, here’s a way to force the device to update. First make sure that you have a dload folder on the top of your internal storage, and have the UPDATE.APP file inside it.

Now, power off your device. And then press and hold Volume up + Volume down + Power button together until you see the software update start installing. That’s it.
