As soon as the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla trailer was released, fans took to social media with an excitement that could only be categorized as ‘jaws hitting the floors’. The game looked magnificent, awe-inspiring, and beautiful in the truest sense of this word. A few days into its release and the verdict is out with most people thoroughly enjoying the gameplay.
As always, there have been some mixed reviews on it too. Even after that, the OG fans aren’t deterred a bit. After all, two years without a new game in the series felt too dull a life to live.
An hour into the game, and it becomes clear that Assassin’s Creed has evolved to deliver one of the best in its series. Every shield and weapon is exclusive in its use, with each possessing a unique skill and upgrades that will make you keep them with you the entire game. The talk of the town seems to be the Berserker Armor which the fans are coveting at the moment.
What’s The Berserker Armor?
The Berserker Armor is a ser of clothing in Valhalla that grants you a 5/5 set bonus which increases your armor strength and attack damage. If you equip two of the pieces, it will grant you an increased speed when taking damage(up to 5 times). Not only that, it is one of the coolest looking armor in the game… rarely will you see anyone wearing a bear on their head.
There are five pieces to the whole armor, namely:
Berserker Hood
Quite frankly, it is one to wear if you want dominance oozing from the choice of your equipment. It looks powerful and at the same time scores high on most parameters. Here is the Berserker armor in its entirety.
Berserker Armor
Superior Torso, with a flowing and furry look. It is the second piece in the whole combination and enhances your armor strength significantly.
Berserker Helm
Beware! A Viking with a bear’s head for a helm. Looks majestic and offers the highest H-res in the Berserker Set.
Berserker Bracers
This classy pair is sturdy and fits well with the look of Berserker.
Berserker Breeches
Furry grey breeches for the cold winters of England. Put it on and complete the Berserker set of Armor. Off you go with the 5/5 bonus of increased attack and strength of the armor.
How To Get The Berserker Armor
Simply put, you need to buy the Ultimate or the Collector’s Edition of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to have the Berserker in your inventory. If you have that already, the Armor can be unlocked really early in the game.
If you have the Ultimate or Collector’s edition of the game, you can get the Berserker armor in Norway itself.
As soon as you get back from the first raid and back to your settlement, you need to stroll around speaking to different NPCs such as Gunnar the Blacksmith, Randvi who you will find sitting outside the pavilion.
As soon as you do that, a few notifications will pop up saying ‘bonus content unlocked’.
Now, go into the Inventory and you will find the Armor unlocked.
You can equip each, and even the weapons that form the Berserker Gear; the Bear-Claw Bearded Axe, and the Ursine Guard Light Shield.
You’re all set now! Now go be the Berserker you were meant to be!
Can you get Berserker Armor for free?
Nope. At least not right now.
Other Content in the Berserker Gear Pack
Ubisoft has gone out of its way to include a specially curated content pack after the berserker armor that should be in your possession with either the Ultimate or Collector’s edition of the game. Here are some other items that you will acquire after getting the armor. These can be directly equipped from the inventory menu.
