Samsung is rolling out an update to the Camera app on the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. There are no new features to the app as the update is solely focussed on solving a particular issue. The update seems to have fixed the Camera Refining Picture notification through inside the Camera app on the Galaxy Note 10 series.
Prior to the update, Note 10 devices appeared to display a “Photo refining” notification even after disabling background activity inside the Camera apps battery settings. The notification kept showing up even after the camera was done processing an image.
The latest update has thus added logic to cancel notifications of completed images after processing.
How to install the latest camera update on your Galaxy Note 10/10+
To fix the Camera Refining Picture notification on your Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+, follow these steps:
- Open the Camera app.
- Hit the gear icon on the top left. This will bring the phone’s camera settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and click on About Camera.
- Tap on Update. You will be taken to the Galaxy Store page for the Camera app.
- Click on Update inside the Galaxy Store page. The latest version of Samsung Camera will download and install on your Galaxy Note 10/10+.
The update might not be available for everyone right away and if that’s the case for you, follow the steps above at a later stage to check for the update.
