Honor is gearing up to showcase its latest marvel, the Magic V3 foldable smartphone, at IFA 2024 in Berlin this September. This cutting-edge device promises to push the boundaries of foldable technology with its sleek design and powerful features.

The Magic V3 is the fruit of Honor’s two-year journey to create the world’s thinnest book-style foldable phone. When folded, it closely resembles a regular smartphone, a testament to Honor’s commitment to user-friendly design.

Under the hood, the Magic V3 boasts impressive specs. It features a 50MP Wide Camera with a large f/1.6 aperture, setting a new standard for foldable phone photography. The device also includes a periscope telephoto lens, capable of an astounding 100X zoom.

The battery life is no concern with the Magic V3. It’s equipped with a 5150mAh Silicon-carbon Battery, ensuring all-day usage even under heavy loads. It also supports 66W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, for quick power-ups. 

Honor is also emphasizing the Magic V3’s eye protection features. The device incorporates several technologies, including PWM Dimming and Hardware-level Low Blue Light, to provide comprehensive eye care for users.

Unique features of the Magic V3 include its hover mode for hands-free use and AI-powered intent recognition. The device runs on the latest MagicOS 8.0.1, promising personalized services based on user preferences.

While pricing for global markets hasn’t been announced, the Magic V3 launched is not expected to be cheap. Magic V2 launched at about £1700/€2000. So, expect it to hover around a similar mark, which is still very competitively priced in the premium foldable segment.

Along with Honor Magic V3, Honor will is also expected to bring out two other devices – the Honor MagicPad 2.12.3 and the Honor MagicBook Art 14 2024.
