Hide Navigation Bar like Huawei phones does using this Xposed module

Did you knew Huawei devices with on-screen/soft keys has this cool feature that let’s you easily hide the navigation bar with a single tap, so that you get to see more on the screen.

Well, thanks to developer ztc1997 who recently released an xposed module that mimics Huawei’s cool feature and makes the functionality available to all the Android devices out there featuring soft keys.

The module puts a tiny [icon name=”angle-down” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] arrow to the left of the navigation bar, which when pressed, hides the navigation bar and leaves a non-obstructing circular icon at the bottom of screen to bring the nav bar back when needed. See the module in action below (gif):

The module is named “Hideable Nav Bar” and is already available for anyone to download. However, the developer has only tested the module on a Xperia Z3 compact. Although there’s no reason for the module to not work on other devices, but if you’re running a custom ROM that offers features to customize navigation bar then it’s likely to crash the SystemUI file on your device. So we’d advise you to try the module only on a device running the stock ROM from manufacturer.
