The co-creator and father of Android, Andy Rubin, announced the Essential phone in May this year. People are desperately waiting to test the new device, as the Essential Company has still not shipped their new phone.

If you are one of them, we have a small present for you. Thanks to Jason Mackenzie, who is the head of sales at the Essential company, we will show you a glimpse of Essential Phone’s UI.

Feast your eyes with the screenshot taken on Essential Phone.

If you look closely, you will notice that the status bar is taller as compared to other Android phones. This is because of the selfie camera that cuts into the display. The status bar is said to be 160 pixels long.

Further, at the bottom, you get three navigational keys, which look similar to Google Pixel UI. The home button has a ring present around it that indicates the presence of Google Assistant on the Essential phone besides Essentials own Assistant.

Further, as per a recent news report, the Essential phone might start shipping from August itself. *Fingers crossed*.
