Samsung’s smartphone business doesn’t look like it is going to stop growing any time soon, with their flagship devices selling like hotcakes, like the Galaxy S3 which sold 20 million units in 100 days. While the Galaxy Note 2, the company’s recently launched 5.5-inch phablet, can’t quite match the S3 in sales, it’s still doing great as Samsung has reported that they have sold 3 million units in just over a month.
That is three times faster than the original Galaxy Note, which crossed the 10 million mark only back in August this year, so we should see the Note 2 crossing that number at a much faster rate. While the big size of the device may not appeal to everyone, the strong sales prove that there is a big enough market for devices like the Note 2 that bridge the gap between phones and tablets, a market that Samsung is leading quite comfortably (are other manufacturers even close?).
Any of you thinking of picking up this beast of a phablet and adding to that sales number?
