Update [April 26, 2017]: In the previous update, Google added the feature to manually add flight and hotel reservations to your trip. They have extended this feature and now the app allows you to manually add car rental and restaurant reservations. Further, the update allows you to share all reservations of a trip via email with just one tap.
Update [March 23, 2017]: Until today, Google Trips was limited in the sense that it only picked up flight, hotel, rental car, and restaurant bookings from your Gmail, but with a new update to the app (version 1.0), Google has gone a step ahead and now the app picks up info for all your bus and train travels as well.

In addition to that, Google Trips has positively received the feedback of its users and added the much-needed feature of the manual itinerary. This feature finally lets you manually add flight and hotel reservations to your trip. However, for now, the manual addition feature is restricted to flights and hotels only.
