One of the Pixel 2’s biggest shortcomings is that it doesn’t come with wireless charging. Well, the story is about to change this year, as the Pixel 3 duo is expected to finally usher Google into the world of wireless charging.

And obviously, Google is going to offer a dedicated accessory to go with the phones in the form of a wireless charging dock. Now the device leaked online showing off a colorful orange-bottom and the “G” logo on the base.

According to MySmartPrice who leaked the accessory, the device is going to be called the Pixel Stand. And it’s going to come with a fast-charging USB-C port, embedded in the base.

Previous rumors have hinted that the Pixel Stand might also allow users to use the Pixel 3 as a second screen. In this state, the phone will be able to trigger a new interface with larger icons for easier tapping.

It won’t be long now until the Pixel 3 duo goes live and the Pixel Stand along with them. Google has scheduled the launch event for October 9 in New York. During the same date, we expect the search giant to unveil other hardware products including its first smart display the Google Home Hub.
