Following all the leaks and rumors, Google has finally announced its two new upgraded smartphones in Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.
Based on Google’s Project Soli, the smartphones are equipped with a new mini radar technology called Motion Sense that will detect your hand gestures and motions from a short distance at high speeds. This will help you change music tracks, silent alarms and much more by performing gestures in front of the phone.
Google has extensively worked on camera by including a pair of the lens at the back, a regular sensor, and a telephoto unit, while also improving the camera app. On their hardware part, Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL come with 855 Snapdragon processor, 6 GB RAM, 64 and 128 GB internal storage, 12MP and 16MP Telephoto lens rear camera with 8MP front camera, 2800mAh (Pixel 4) and 3700mAh (Pixel 4 XL) battery, and Titan M security module.
The Pixel 4 devices come with Android 10 pre-installed but are eligible for three years of security patches and Android version updates (up to Android 13, presumably).
You can now pre-order the smartphones in Just Black, Clearly White and Orange (to what they call Oh So Orange) colors, starting at $799 and $899 for Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL respectively.
