The guys at Google sure like to tease us about rumored upcoming devices by leaving photos on Picasa taken by one or the other of those rumored phones. This time, a picture taken by the 10-inch Nexus tablet, which Google is said to be working on with Samsung for a release next year, has appeared on Picasa, sporting a resolution of 5 megapixels (2560 x 1920).
The Nexus 10 is rumored to have a display with resolution of 2560 x 1600, which would make for an ultra sharp pixel density of 299ppi, and is also supposed to feature Samsung‘s next generation Cortex-A15-based Exynos 5 chipset (something which Google also used on their latest Chromebook). With those kind of specs, we can expect the camera to have an even higher megapixel count (leaked Picasa images are usually at lower resolution than the max resolution a device allows), though anything above a 5 megapixel camera on a tablet is yet to be seen.
With the LG Nexus 4 appearing in pictures at Picasa and turning out to be very real, let us hope that the Nexus 10 turns out to be real as well, as a 10-inch Nexus tablet would find many takers.
