The Google Messenger app is getting an update that brings support to stickers, some new sticker pads and the ability to share the location. Though these features might not be attractive to all the users, many will like the addition of stickers that can be sent to their family and friends.
The sticker pads can be downloaded from the attachment button on the left of the conversation screen. A few rows of stickers will be seen automatically and the users can swipe to reveal more stickers. There are several interesting packs that can be selected and each of these has dozens of animated stickers.
The update to the Google Messenger will also bring the ability to send the location of the user in a few taps. Similar to accessing the stickers, the user has to click on the attachment button and choose the location icon. When a location is shared, it will send a link to open the location in Google Maps.
The new Google Messenger update is available on the Google Play Store.
